Mike Di Meglio is the only French driver present this year against seven newcomers from different backgrounds who join the grid, including ex-Grand Prix winners like Jordi Torres (Join Contract Pons 40) and Dominique Aegerter (GP intact).

Lukas Tulovic and Tommaso Marcon are entered by the only French team Tech 3 E-Racing. Alessandro Zaccone (Trentino Gresini MotoE) and Xavier Cardelus (Avintia Esponsorama Racing) come to us from the Moto2 World Cup and the Moto2 European Championship in the FIM CEV Repsol.

Alejandro Medina Mayo replaces his compatriot Nico Terol for the new season. Nico Terol had announced that he was leaving the Openbank Aspar Team to move towards endurance. As a result, the Spanish team was looking for a second driver to accompany Maria Herrera and its choice ultimately fell on the young Alejandro Medina.

We now know the entire MotoE grid, with a field which, like last season, includes 18 competitors divided into the same 12 teams. 12 nationalities are represented.

The entry list:

5 – Alex De Angelis, San Marino (Octo Pramac MotoE)
6 – Maria Herrera, Spain (Openbank Aspar Team)
7 – Niccolò Canepa, Italy (LCR E-Team)
10 – Xavier Siméon, Belgium (LCR E-Team)
