With the third season of the FIM Enel MotoE World Cup fast approaching, the Tech3 E-Racing structure is proud to announce that Lukas Tulovic and Corentin Perolari will form the team for 2021.

The young Lukas Tulovic, 20, is no stranger to the MotoE Championship, having had his first year in the category in 2020, showing decent pace and a steep learning curve with two front row starts, and solid fourth and sixth positions in the race. Unfortunately, his progress was halted by a crash at the fourth event of the season, but the talented German still managed to finish in 11th place in the overall Cup standings, narrowly missing out on the top 10.

Corentin Perolari will be a rookie in the FIM Enel MotoE World Cup. Coming from the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, he became Spanish champion in the Open 600 category in 2016 before moving to the European Moto2 championship in 2017. Since 2019, the French rider has continuously participated in the Supersport World Championship. This is why the young 22-year-old driver is eager to take on a new challenge in 2021, by joining the Tech3 E-Racing team.

« I am super happy and excited to have the chance to compete again for Tech3 E-Racing at the FIM Enel MotoE World Cup in 2021. I am very grateful for this opportunity and I thank Hervé Poncharal for making this possible. We had some pretty impressive results in E-Pole in 2020 and also some good races, especially the first event at Jerez. The speed has been there throughout the season, but unfortunately in the second race at Misano I had this big accident, which kind of ruined the rest of my season. The last three races at Misano and Le Mans only limited the damage and I tried to score as many points as possible in order to maintain a decent position in the championship for myself and the team. We want to do better in 2021, of course get the first podiums, be further forward and fight for the title. We've already started this season well, but now it's time to do even better. »

Corentin Perolari
« I'm really proud to join the Tech3 E-Racing team in 2021. It's a great team, the results speak for themselves, and so I hope to add something to the team's positive list. The FIM Enel MotoE World Cup itself is a completely new adventure for me, a category that certainly has an extraordinary future. When it comes to driving, my goal for my first year in this category is to learn and get up to speed as quickly as possible, so that I can work my way to the top of the championship as quickly as possible. »

Hervé Poncharal, Leader
« Finally, we can announce our 2021 MotoE program. I am very proud to have the opportunity to do another year with Lukas, who had his first season in MotoE last year and impressed quite a few observers. Unfortunately, he was injured the last two weekends, so his final ranking is not what I believe to be his true level. But clearly, in 2021 he will have a year of experience under his belt, he knows how to master the Energica machine, he knows that qualifying is the key moment of the weekend, but also that the first two laps are essential and we know the points on which we must work together. I'm sure he will take a big step forward and fight for podiums throughout the season. On the other hand, it is with great joy that we are going to start working with Corentin Perolari, who is a young French driver, who has raced in World Supersport for the last two years. We have seen that in MotoE, as in any other category, young riders are clearly the future and I believe Corentin will bring his youth, energy and dedication to his first season in MotoE in order to progress as a rider . He is very proud to be in the MotoGP paddock, and MotoE is a young category that has a great future ahead of it and I think having young and fast riders will help the sport and e-racing become even more exciting. 2021 will be the third year of the Enel FIM MotoE World Cup and, year after year, it becomes a more important category of the MotoGP World Championship. I am confident that MotoE racing will provide an incredible spectacle once again in 2021. »
