Nico Terol will not do a second season of MotoE. The pilot took it upon himself to announce it. He prefers to devote himself to the growth of young pilots.

Despite the entry list published at the end of 2019, a change must be made for the new MotoE season. Nico Terol , one of the two drivers fielded by Aspar Team (formerly Ángel Nieto Team), will not be one of the protagonists of the second electric year. Its commitment will focus on very young pilots who wish to contribute to their professional development. The last 125cc champion thus makes his racing experience available after participating in this new championship.

Here are the words with which Nico Terol announces the end of his experience in MotoE. " In 2020, I want to put all my experience at the service of the Aspar Junior Team drivers. A project that motivates me a lot. I want to pass on my experience to children so that one day they can realize their dream, which is to become world champions.. I thank Jorge Martínez and the whole team for the trust placed in me during the first season in MotoE. I wish them the best in the future. »
