 The MotoE World Cup began its pre-season at the Jerez – Ángel Nieto circuit. A pre-season focused exclusively on the Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto and scheduled with two training sessions of three days each. The first test took place from Monday until this Wednesday, while the second official test, also scheduled in Jerez, is scheduled for April 11 and 13.

This category of electric motorcycles, which race alongside certain MotoGP Grands Prix, will include 7 events this season. Swiss rider Dominique Aegerter dominates the first official MotoE World Cup test day.

Monday, after three sessions of 15 minutes in the first and 20 minutes in the second and third, the Swiss driver Dominique Aegerter (Dynavolt Intact GP MotoE) was the fastest of the day with a time of 1'48.634. Behind him, the Brazilian Eric Granado achieved a time of 1'48.925, while the third best time of the day was achieved by Matteo Ferrari with a time of 1'49.230. The best Spaniard was Jordi Torres who finished the day in fifth position with a time of 1'49.530. Marc Alcoba was tenth, Héctor Garzó eleventh, Xavi Fores fourteenth and Maria Herrera fifteenth, while the rookie Alex Escrig was sixteenth.

Italian Niccolò Canepa set the fastest time on the second day of official MotoE World Cup testing today in wet conditions.

Unstable weather prevailed during the second day of official testing for the MotoE World Cup, with the presence of light rain during the day which caused a few falls due to the slippery nature of the asphalt.

During this second day of official testing, three sessions of 15 minutes took place in the first and 20 minutes in the second, while the third began with a simulation of the starting procedure and ended with a last session of 15 minutes.

The first morning session was dominated by the Italian driver Matteo Ferrari who achieved a time of 2'04.730, followed by Niccolò Canepa et Dominique Aegerter. During the second session, which also took place in the rain, it was the Brazilian driver Eric Granado who achieved the best time with a 1'59.306, followed by Matteo Ferrari et Xavier Cardelús with the third beat.
In the last session, the fastest of the day, it was the Italian driver Niccolò Canepa (Withu GRT Motoe) who achieved the best time of the session and therefore of the day, with a best time of 1'58.895. Behind him in the general classification, we find the Spaniard Marc Alcoba with 1'59.084 followed by the Japanese driver Hikari Okubo with 1.

Jordi Torres leads the times on the last day of the MotoE test but Dominique Aegerter remains the fastest over all three days.

The sun once again accompanied the MotoE World Cup riders who today completed their first cycle of official pre-season testing at the Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto. Testing will continue at the same location from April 11-13, almost a fortnight before the Gran Premio Red Bull de España, where the electric motorcycle series' seven-event season will begin at the Jerez circuit.

During this third and final day of testing, only two sessions finally took place, the first and the last, since the second, which was to be a simulacrum of Q1 and Q2 like MotoGP qualifying, ultimately could not be carried out in its entirety for technical reasons.

The first session, which took place under the sun but with numerous traces of humidity in different places on the track, saw 11 drivers set off, the Briton Bradley Smith being the fastest with a time of 1'55.638. Behind him, we find the Italian Nicolò Canepa, who dominated yesterday's session with a time of 1'56.902, while the Spaniard Maria Herrera is third with a lap in 1'59.550. The third session, which took place on a completely dry track, was dominated by the Spaniard Jordi Torres with a time of 1'48.877, the best of the day. The second best time is that of Mattia Casadei with a time of 1'49.060, while the Swiss Dominique Aegerter finished third with a time of 1'49.062.

During the three days of testing, the best overall time was achieved by Dominique Aegerter (1'48.634), followed by Jordi Torres (1'48.878) and Eric Granado (1'48.925).
