The Marc VDS rider had an excellent first test on MotoE and was very well classified at the start of the final day.

This first MotoE test was a bit of an unknown for all the riders who were about to ride their machine for the first time. After two days of testing, everyone now understands what to expect and where to stand. And precisely, the French Mike Di Meglio, driver within the Marc VDS team, is doing very well.

At the end of the first day, Friday, he occupied sixth place in the ranking, eight tenths behind the best time held by Niki Tuuli: “My first contact with MotoE was good. The grip is impressive and the bike is easy to handle. The weight is also not a problem for me. I was expecting a heavier bike and instead I felt it was smoother and easier to ride. At first it's a bit strange not hearing any noise, but I adapted very quickly and I think the bike is a good base for everyone. The times are also quite tight, so the races should be fun. »

After two days of testing, he progressed and, in the combined times of these two days, he ranked third and best French representative. Kenny Foray is seventh and Randy De Puniet eighth. He halved his gap with the first, and is now four tenths behind: “We saw again that the concept of MotoE is fantastic because the bike is very easy to ride. This new experience amuses me a lot. We finished third in dry conditions and I think we still have room for improvement. Compared to yesterday, we have improved a lot on the bike. Now we understand it better and know how to progress with the development. »

The last day is currently taking place, and we will see this evening if this trend of progression is confirmed for Mike Di Meglio.
