The first MotoE test is in the hands of Eric Granado. The Brazilian driver achieved the best time in the general classification of this last day, followed by Dominique Aegerter and Matteo Ferrari.

The first official tests of 2021 for MotoE riders concluded today. Three intense days, between those who rediscovered their sensations with the Energica Ego Corsa and those who discovered them for the first time. Above all shines in particular the name ofEric Granado, who today recorded the best time of the three days. And that's not all, because the One Energy Racing flag bearer also beats the Jerez absolute record that already belonged to him, a 1'47.584 set in 2020. The combined ranking sees Dominique Aegerter et Matteo Ferrari follow, with for sure a deserving note for the young Fermín Aldeguer, 15 years old, who really performed well during his very first outing with the electric motorcycle.

First session

It took place from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., with Eric Granado which picks up where it left off on day two. In fact, the times were considerably reduced as the Brazilian from One Energy Racing stopped the clock in 1'47.553. A time that rewrites the absolute record that already belonged to him, in addition to being the only one with Dominique Aegerter (Intact GP) to break the 1'48 wall for the first time in these tests. In third place, six tenths behind, is the 2019 champion Matteo Ferrari (Team Gresini), closely followed by the rookie Fermín Aldeguer (Aspar Team).

Second session

A race simulation was planned for this afternoon, but it was ultimately decided to postpone everything until the next tests in April. Only the grid procedure was seen, before proceeding to a final “classic” session from 16 p.m. to 16:30 p.m. Dominique Aegerter finds himself at the top of the ranking: the only one to have gone below the 1'48 mark in this last event (he turned out to be much better than what he had done in the morning). The Intact GP driver preceded it Eric Granado (One Energy Racing) and the reigning champion Jordi Torres (Pons Racing). Behind them, the most promising rookie, Fermín Aldeguer (Aspar Team), continues to appear, while the best Italian, Matteo Ferrari (Team Gresini), achieves the seventh best time.
