You have to believe that sometimes, to finally get along, you have to move away. In 2017, Jorge Lorenzo will be a Ducati rider and therefore a direct rival for Valentino Rossi on his Yamaha. And no longer a teammate. Yet, this change of camps seems to have brought the two men closer together who send each other good feelings and other courtesies. Fortunately, there is lifelong friend Uccio to set the mood. In a recent interview, the Italian is not the last to welcome Por Fuera's departure from Yamaha.

This is in an interview given to the site MCN that Uccio explains the benefits of the departure of Jorge Lorenzo from Yamaha: “ Since then, the atmosphere has been fantastic in the team. It's been great since Lorenzo left and Viñales arrived. The latter is very young and very fast, but the atmosphere is very good. Of course, the bike still needs to evolve, but I think it has great potential ».

He pursues : " we will see how all this will change Vale. Lorenzo was very strong with a lot of experience. Maverick may need a year to learn. At least I hope so! He is very fast over one lap, but we have to see what it will do over the length of a race. Finally, he is fifteen years younger than Vale, it's quite a challenge! »

A generational question which inevitably leads to concerns about future retirement: “ he is 37 years old, and we have to think about what will happen in two years. But with Valentino, you never know. If he continues to be at such a level, why should he stop? Or that would mean that there are 22 other pilots who would have to ask themselves the question of their retirement! »
