The Pramac team will help the Ducati factory to develop its new GP17. Enough to compensate for the absence of a Lorenzo shod by his Yamaha contract until the end of the year.

The 2016 season is currently ending in Valencia, but heads are already turned towards preparations for the next 2017 campaign. A concern for Ducati which will have to do without its new recruit Lorenzo.

The Majorcan will ride his new red motorcycle on the Tuesday and Wednesday following the race on the Ricardo Tormo track. Then he will see her again in February next year in Sepang. In the meantime, how can we continue the development work? In Borgo Panigale, we found: putting the Pramac team in the game.

A solution which, according to GP One will materialize during the Jerez tests which will take place from November 23 to 25. A deadline where we will see Pirro at work but also one of the Pramac drivers who will put a Desmosedici with GP17 in it to the test. Depending on the outcome of this Valencia Grand Prix, it will be Redding ou Petrucci.

It will be recalled that during these Jerez tests, we will find on the track all the Ducati teams with the exception of the official one as well as the Honda, Aprilia, Suzuki and KTM factories. Superbike machines will also be there with Ducati, Yamaha, Kawasaki, MV Agusta and Honda.
