It had been in the air for a while and we had already clipped their wings in Moto3 and Moto2. But they continued to flourish in MotoGP, to the great dismay of Dani Pedrosa who compared them to knife blades. These are the fins brought and developed by Ducati. An initiative that will not survive the end of this season.
The Commission has decided and unanimously please. Which implies that Ducati has lowered its flag on a subject which directly opposed it to Honda. The 2016 season will be the last year where we will see motorcycles equipped with fins. In 2017, they will regain their ancestral lines and the appendages will be discarded.
