Wales still does not have its route and the Finland will perhaps have difficulty in having its circuit, but, elsewhere, we embellish what already exists. Thus in the Netherlands where the essential Assen track will be equipped with a new grandstand which should be operational for the Grand Prix expected from April 20 to 22, 2018. And for good reason, the work should begin this month !

Assen will be able to welcome more people in 2018. With this new grandstand which will connect the entrance to the chicane to the finish line, 9 additional people will be able to take part in the party. And the area will have all the amenities to receive them.

The cost of the work is estimated at 4 million euros, partly contributed by the local government and partly by the investors who own the site. The stand will be 308 meters long and 13 meters high. This is the most important overhaul of the route in ten years. A place which also hosts the Superbike and the British Superbike championship.
