This weekend is the Dutch Grand Prix at Assen and when hostilities begin, the appearance of the 2018 MotoGP field will have become even clearer. We learn in fact that one of its protagonists has extended his adventure with his current team. As it happens Cal Crutchlow who still has two more years with the Honda LCR team.

It seems that the 31-year-old Briton has decided to stay where he is with the status he has until the end of his Grand Prix career. Cal Crutchlow thus signed for two years with Lucio Cecchinello, a duration which suggests that the LCR team was able to guarantee the presence of its Honda. See his RC213V, since we hope to field two machines next year in this team. A prospect confirmed, since Lucio Cecchinello has received the assurance of being a Honda satellite team until 2019.

Cal Crutchlow who always speaks loudly, proclaimed to anyone who would listen that he wanted an official contract and that opportunities existed elsewhere than at LCR. A compromise was therefore found while both at Suzuki and Aprilia, we can think of something else.
