MotoGP 2019, Francesco Bagnaia: “I also have Dovizioso in my riding style”.

Francesco “Pecco” bagnaia asserted himself much more than a simple leader of the rookies during the four days of testing in the 2019 off-season. Riding his Ducati Pramac, he clearly established himself from the start as a potential subscriber to the top 10, or even more if affinities. And listening to his driving style, he could well be one of the surprises of the next campaign...

bagnaia is the reigning Moto2 World Champion. He was voted driver of the year by the site Moto.it. Before getting on his Desmosedici, he proclaimed to anyone who would listen that he was not far from the style of pilot of Lorenzo. Since then, he has found another inspiration in addition to the first: Dovizioso !

« I'm a mix between Lorenzo and Dovizioso, at the moment. For cornering speed, of course, it's Lorenzo. But for the release, it looks more like Dovizioso."

An explosive combination. We will indeed recall that the two former Borgo Panigale officials brought the GP18 to the highest step of the podium seven times in 2018...
