Before Japanese Grand Prix, which will keep us awake this weekend, the MotoGP grid has become a little more finalized in view of 2019. Takaaki Nakagami has indeed been confirmed in his position as Cal Crutchlow's teammate at Honda LCR. Here are the elite numbers at 21 pilots out of 22 possible. But who is missing?
The one who has not yet responded to the call is the injured man from Silverstone and has been missing ever since, Esteve Rabat. In principle, he is in no way in the hot seat within an Avintia Ducati team for which he is the spearhead. However, nothing has been signed yet. Priority is logically given to prolonged convalescence. Nothing is less certain than seeing the man called Tito return in the middle of this season's overseas campaign.
In the meantime, here is the state of play with the end of the contracts mentioned for those who have already secured their fate... we are seeing two French people, which does not displease us!
