There are no downtimes in MotoGP. And nothing is ever acquired. Elements that a person must think about Danilo Petrucci certainly delighted to don a red jumpsuit. But it is worth it. And when you are a factory driver, you have no right to indulgence; the proof with the team manager Davide Tardozzi which already warns the successor of Jorge Lorenzo…
Petrux finished his first day as an official Ducati team rider in the top 10 of the first Valencia test rankings. He is the second of the protagonists in Desmosedici, behind Dovizioso. But the beginner bagnaia is not that far with the GP18 while Miller had a technical problem.
And then there is a problem, on which Davide Tardozzi lingers… “ Danilo understood that he had reached a limit and that he had to change something in his riding style. He must resolve the problems which slowed him down in the second half of the season and which had been analyzed by certain Ducati engineers... He is running strong with the new tyres. But we need to improve on long runs. This is something we are going to focus on this winter. Compared to Lorenzo there is 8-10 kg difference, but it's not just the weight. It's the aggressiveness on acceleration that destroys the rear tire. When you reach certain temperatures, they are no longer effective ».
