First podiums, first victories and more in this 2021 season... Let's review all the results of this order obtained by the protagonists of MotoGP.

de Motoracing

An intense MotoGP season has ended, with the first champion from France in the premier category and Ducatis in strong growth. For Moto3 and Moto2, it is clear that, in these categories too, there was no shortage of “firsts”, that is to say, important first results. The names ? Certainly, fabio quartararo et Francesco Bagnaia are not missing on the list, in addition to the two important rookies of 2021, without forgetting a particular brand. So let's see all the names and their reasons.

Pecco Bagnaia

Let's start with the man who became the leader of the Borgo Panigale Reds in the second half. As well as the driver of great hopes for 2022... But let's stay in this championship, starting with his  first pole position (out of five in total), arriving during the first GP of the year in Qatar. A few podiums followed, not the first for Pecco in the higher category, until he reached the top from the Aragón event. This is where it happens first victory in MotoGP, which will be followed by three others, including the one which closes the 2021 season. Too bad for the accident at the GP of Emilia Romagna (while he was clearly in the lead) which closed the world championship games, but we start from these results to dream even bigger next year.

Jorge Martín

The best rookie in the premier category of the 2021 season, a great year despite the serious accident at Portimão-1. The Pramac Ducati rider only needed two GPs: during the second event in Doha, to win his first pole position in the premier category. It's not over: he dominated the race for a long time, before giving way to Quartararo and zarco, but that's how he won the first podium MotoGP. As mentioned, this follows the bang in Portugal which "slows down" his growth, but he is again the protagonist of the Styrian GP. This time, he is not satisfied with a podium, but wins his first victory high-level (and so far the only) with authority after the second pole of the year.

Aprilia – Aleix Espargaró

In this case it is also worth inserting a particular brand, given that it was a historic moment. A long-sought result among the various difficulties of a project that is not easy to achieve in today's more than competitive MotoGP. But Aleix Espargaró had promised Noale's men a podium and at Silverstone the opportunity materialized. After a great battle with Miller, the Catalan offered Aprilia third place, the historic first podium of the premier category for the Italian brand. For the moment it is the only one counted, but the Venetian house continues the work with the hope of repeating itself as quickly as possible, and in particular with the newcomer in the race, Maverick Viñales.

Enea Bastianini

We come to the second rookie capable of leaving his mark in his first MotoGP season. It took a little longer than his Spanish brand mate, but the 2 Moto2020 world champion is also starting to achieve increasingly solid results. But it is in Misano that the Avintia driver shines the most: in the San Marino Grand Prix, we see him constantly moving up from 12th position on the grid, until he seizes tooth and nail third position on the finish line. This is how his first podium as a pilot of the first class, also with the first best lap race. A P3 that he will then be able to repeat also during the second event contested on the Italian track.

fabio quartararo

The one who wrote the history of France in MotoGP certainly could not be missing from this list. He had already achieved his first pole positions, first fastest laps, first podiums and first victories in 2019, his first year in the premier class. But there was a “first time” that he had not yet achieved in any world category, considering that he had not particularly excelled in either Moto3 or Moto2. Already in the previous two years he had shown great things, in this 2021 here is the icing on the cake on the occasion of the Emilia-Romagna GP. The accident of his rival Bagnaia and the fourth place under the checkered flag allowed him to kick off the party: here is his first world champion title, the first for France in the premier category and the first for Yamaha after a long fast.
