The Italian who knows the Ducati well, but who also served under the KTM awning in his youth, takes the place of a Mike Leitner who is officially in no way disowned but who does not yet know what his future will hold. Guidotti is a new name in a storied list of coaching staff at Mattighofen. Pit Beirer, the sports director, is delighted.

KTM announces the return of Francesco Guidotti who will be the Team Manager of the official team in MotoGP starting next year. The 49-year-old Tuscan had already been at the helm of KTM in 125 and 250 for four years, before leaving the world championship for WorldSBK. Over the past decade he has been at the helm of the Pramac MotoGP team, a place where he has learned a lot, particularly about GP21.

Francesco Guidotti declared on his return to the orange brand: “ I was KTM team manager from 2006 to 2009, then I gained valuable experience in another series before returning to MotoGP. I am very happy to be back and be part of this great push towards more success ».
