Jack Miller

KTM's plans for Jack Miller have just been confirmed, truly pushing Miguel Oliveira towards the exit. With this announcement about the Australian, others are expected to follow. The MotoGP grid for 2023 and beyond is taking shape…

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing has confirmed that Jack Miller will line up alongside Brad Binder for 2023 and 2024 in MotoGP after announcing that the Australian had signed a two-year contract. Miller turned 27 in January but already has more than a decade of Grand Prix experience, including nine victories and almost 30 podiums in Moto3 and MotoGP. 2014 was the most prolific period of his career, as a union with Aki Ajo's Red Bull KTM Ajo team saw him take six wins and narrowly miss out on the Moto3 title. He made a high-profile jump straight into the MotoGP category for 2015 under the leadership of Honda.

Miller will reconnect with Francesco Guidotti, having worked with the current Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team Manager for three of his eight years in MotoGP under the Pramac awning. The same Francesco Guidotti commented : " having Jack alongside Brad on our team means we have another major asset. I know him well, I know how he likes to work and what he can bring. I believe his character and the way he will ride and push our KTM RC16 will help us a lot at this stage of our project.”

Ciabatta

KTM wanted a striker who didn't ask questions like Brad Binder and that's the case with Jack Miller

The Italian adds: “ like Brad, Jack is a pure runner : he will find the limits and the maximum of any condition and any package and will “go for it” to obtain the result and this is a quite rare quality. The next two seasons will be exciting ».

Pete Beirer, KTM Motorsports Director completes: “ of course, we have known Jack since he came to prominence with Aki and our Moto3 program and it is a great pleasure to bring a rider of his abilities into our MotoGP structure. He left a positive impression on us and we stayed in touch. Jack's approach and attitude towards running is very similar to ours. I am very proud to have him return to Red Bull KTM and he will be a great addition to our mission ". Due to his Ducati contract, Jack Miller is not yet allowed to comment on his future employer, and a photo with the KTM logo is not allowed until the end of the season.
