The Aprilia factory team is preparing for its official team presentation, featuring Aleix Espargaró and Maverick Viñales, just ahead of the MotoGP test in Qatar. The festivities will begin on the web from 15:30 p.m.
Aprilia will also benefit from these tests on the Losail route at Qatar to finalize the development of the RS-GP24 engine. Before diving into testing on the track, the team will present the new look of its drivers, Aleix Espargaró et Maverick Vinales, this Sunday which precedes the last test gallop of this rich off-season.
Aleix Espargaró, old 34 years, achieved two successes in MotoGP, and he still remains the “captain” of the RS-GP project, since he seems to be the only one to best adapt to a new loaded aerodynamic RS-GP.
From the top of its 29 springs, Maverick Casa Particular in Viñales, Moto3 world champion in 2012, also has several victories in the premier category to his credit, nine including eight with Yamaha and one with Suzuki, but he is still waiting for his first achievement as a factory rider Aprilia.
The official team presentation is scheduled for 18 p.m. local time at Qatar, and will be streamed from 16 hours for Central European fans, due to the two-hour time difference.
