For the challenge MotoGP with the dream team formed by Pecco Bagnaia et Marc Marquez, the official Ducati team has teamed up with another prestigious technical partner. The windscreens will in fact be supplied by WRS, a dynamic company from Cattolica and an excellence in the Motor Valley. As if the exceptional technological level expressed by its products were not enough, the brand represented by Nicolas Zavoli also embarks on board the Reds as a kind of lucky charm. In fact, in 2024, WRS won the World Championship in all speed categories, including MotoGP as technical partner of the Pramac team of George Martin.
A key element
The windshield is an accessory of great technical importance in modern motorcycling, and in particular in the top category increasingly dedicated to an exasperated research in the field of aerodynamics. This component has a very important impact both on the CX, that is the coefficient of penetration in the air, and on the necessary protection of the rider. In fact, the size of the body and the position on the saddle greatly influence the air flows, and a well-designed fairing allows you to optimize the entire rider-vehicle assembly. For this reason, WRS has designed custom screens for Bagnaia and Marquez, taking advantage of its extensive knowledge of the sector and its cutting-edge technology. The aim of the projects is to guarantee maximum performance in terms of aerodynamics, visibility and resistance.
Italian excellence
In 2024, WRS won all the titles at stake in MotoGP: with David Alonso in Moto3,
Ai Ogura in the intermediate category and finally with George Martin and the Pramac team in MotoGP. In addition, success also came in Superbike thanks to
Toprak Razgatlioglu with BMW. Another WRS flagship in 2024 was the America's Cup debut, with an innovative windshield created for Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli. Now a new challenge begins, still “in red”.
Pride and responsibility
« Working alongside riders of the calibre of Pecco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez is a great responsibility for us, but also a stimulus to continue pushing the limits of our technology" comments
Nicolas Zavoli. " We look forward to seeing the bikes at the presentation on Monday in Campiglio.”
