Aleix Espargaró will not take part in the 2019 MotoGP test scheduled in Jerez tomorrow and Thursday.
The Aprilia rider suffered serious gastroenteritis last night and was admitted to the Nostra Senyora Hospital in Meritxell, Andorra, where he lives with his wife and children.
He will therefore not be able to take part in the last official MotoGP test of the year and will be replaced on the official Noale machine by the new Aprilia test rider, Bradley Smith.
Andrea Iannone will also be present with its own motorcycles, as will Matthew Baiocco who will pilot the RS-GP for the development of British rider who has just been the fastest during the first MotoE tests.
