Following his crash during the Australian Grand Prix, Aprilia MotoGP rider Aleix Espargaró underwent successful surgery on Thursday October 26 at the Quirón-Dexeus Clinic in Barcelona.
Doctor Sergi Barrera, a member of the unit led by Doctor Xavier Mir, carried out the reduction and stabilization of fractures at the 4th metacarpal and the 2nd phalanx of the 5th finger of the left hand, using a plate and screw.
Aleix will be back on track for the last race of the season in Valencia.
