Alex Marquez will not keep lasting memories of his first Grands Prix under the colors of an LCR team which will also be his in 2022. In only two of the nine races in the first half of the 2021 MotoGP season, he finished in the top 10, with 6th place in the rain at Le Mans being its highest point. In the first four races of the season alone, he crashed three times.
