MotoGP Germany FP LIVE: Surprise, the track is wet!

The 3671 meter short circuit of Sachsenring, which for the 25th time hosts the German Grand Prix, did not deviate from the rule of extremely tight times and consequently offers us a spectacle of high intensity in an already exciting MotoGP.

Let's get straight to the point, yesterday you had to be within the same half-second as Marco Bezzecchi to go directly to Q2! Jorge Martin, Aleix Espargaro, Francesco Bagnaia, Jack Miller, fabio quartararo, Luca Marini, Enea Bastianini, Alex Marquez et Johann zarco did it, most by escaping an interminable slide at the Waterfall, others not, most by escaping the acrobatics of Marc Marquez, another no.

Because if Honda's leading driver does not appear in the top 10 and will have to go through Q1, it is not for lack of having given everything, and even more. We will not return to the controversies sparked by his mowing down of the unfortunate Johann zarco, but we simply see that the king of the Sachsenring started his weekend very badly on a left-turning track which nevertheless suits him particularly well. Be careful though, there is nothing more dangerous than an injured animal, even if in this case it is more of a wound of self-esteem...

Marc Marquez having to win his passage to Q2, but Brad Binder, 4th in the championship, too, just like Fabio Di Giannantonio, Augusto Fernandez et Miguel Oliveira who showed good speed in P2. Whoever the two lucky winners are, one thing seems certain: Q1 and Q2 will be fierce!

There are 518 points left to register when it's time to discover more in this 30-minute FP which will begin with the surprise of the weekend... a wet track since the early hours of this Saturday morning while the rain should no longer return from this afternoon!

When the red lights go out... Johann zarco rushes first.

The sun makes a very shy appearance but the Live Timing obviously didn't like the rain...

Jack Miller registers the first reference before entrusting command to fabio quartararo who himself bows before Brad Binder while Marco Bezzecchi gets hit by Marc Marquez by driving too slowly on the trajectory.

In the wake, Maverick Vinales registered 1'30.329 while Marco Bezzecchi receives a warning.

At mid-session, the hierarchy is made up of Maverick Vinales, Jack Miller, Aleix Espargaro, Brad Binder, Miguel Oliveira, Francesco Bagnaia, Franco Morbidelli, Luca Marini, Marco Bezzecchi, Jorge Martin, Fabio Quartararo, Johann Zarco, Augusto Fernandez, Marc Márquez, Alex Márquez, Raul Fernandez, Enea Bastianini , Fabio Di Giannantonio, Takaaki Nakagami and Jonas Folger.

Upon resumption, Marco Bezzecchi takes command in 1'30.136 then drives home the point in 1'29.877 and 1'29.659 in front Alex Marquez.

Johann zarco positions himself third as the track begins to dry on the trajectory.

Seven minutes from the checkered flag, John Zarco, with medium rain tires at the front and soft at the rear, recorded 1'29.390 at the top of the table.

Jack Miller et Augusto Fernandez enter the top 5, just like Marc Marquez three minutes from the dropping of the flag.

Alex Marquez registered a new reference in 1'29.297 then that of the command to his brother in 1'29.269.

In the absence of live timing, we will have to wait a little before we can publish the ranking…
