At the end of the first day of the German Grand Prix on the Sachsenring circuit, Miguel Oliveira, fabio quartararo, Maverick Vinales, Alex Rins, Espargaro Pol, Takaaki Nakagami, Aleix Espargaro, Johann zarco, Jack Miller and Franco Morbidelli have pre-qualified for Q2.

These 10 drivers did it during FP2 despite very high track temperatures, which suggests that the times will be further improved this morning for the last semi-qualifying free practice session.

If the Ducatis actually seem to suffer a little from the long series of left turns offered by the German track, and if we witnessed yesterday without much surprise the good performance of the Yamahas on the German turnstile, the overall acclimatization of the Hondas to this particular circuit as well as the confirmation of the progress of the KTMs were more unexpected and constituted good news, not even to mention the positive feedback fromalex rins after his stupid bike fall, nor the constant presence ofAlex Espargaro and his Aprilia in the leading group.

But with a top 10 which is held in just half a second, the game is still far from being made, which will undoubtedly benefit Marc Márquez who, unlike his opponents, has not yet used a soft rear tire...

The 45 minutes ahead therefore promise to be as exciting as they are important, with currently a maximum time of 1'21.228 for direct access to Q2.

The temperatures are still high, with 30° in the air and 37° on the asphalt, as the 22 drivers prepare live under the lenses of Dorna's cameras.

In the wake, Takaaki Nakagami places his Honda 34/1000 behind the Australian driver… but Fabio Quartararo then achieved the best time of the weekend in 1'20.348!

Brad Binder enters the top 10 and ousts it Johann zarco. There are 10 minutes left...

Johann zarco then produces his effort with Miguel Oliveira in the spotlight and positions his Ducati GP 21 in second place, 85/1000 behind Fabio Quartararo.

Valentino Rossi improves and reaches the gates of the top 10 while Maverick Vinales minor fall at the first turn. There are 5 minutes left...

Three minutes from the checkered flag, Jack Miller, then dropped back to fourth position, lit three first sectors in red but ultimately had to settle for second place.

Espargaro Pol suffered his third crash of the weekend, this time at turn #8, which led to the yellow flag appearing for a few seconds.

One minute before the flag is lowered, Marc Marquez, then down to ninth position, lights the first two sectors in red and climbs back to fourth place, but sees his lap canceled.

Finally, Fabio Quartararo, Jack Miller, Johann Zarco, Miguel Oliveira, Aleix Espargaro, Jorge Martin, Takaaki Nakagami, Francesco Bagnaia, Marc Márquez and Alex Márquez are pre-qualified for Q2, which is neither the case for the two Suzuki drivers nor for Maverick Vinales, Franco Morbidelli and Pol Espargaro.
