Marc Márquez drove the point home by winning the German GP and closing to within 18 points of the championship leader.

This marks his tenth victory on the German track, which has become his favorite circuit. He thus equals Giacomo Agostini, who holds the record for the most wins at a single track, and further cements his place in history.

Having started in the lead, Marc Márquez He was never troubled by his competitors. The only driver who could have given him a scare, his brother, made a mistake. This was the only blemish on an otherwise perfect day for number 93, who can now begin the summer break with everything going smoothly.

He knows that he now needs to fully recover from his right arm injury in order to be fully fit for the resumption of competition in early August.

“Today, I attacked right from the start, then I felt the front tire was at its limit. It was a strange feeling. I didn't understand if I was experiencing graining at the front or what was happening. And I knew that here, on this circuit, when you lose a second and a half, it's extremely difficult to make up the time.”

Actually, just one thing, with my right arm, so during the summer break, I’m going to rest, of course, because I need it mentally. But I really need to work hard on my right arm, especially on the weak points, because there are times when I’m just riding, I’m on the bike, I can’t play with my body. So that’s what I want to work on.”
