Marc Márquez drove the point home by winning the German GP and closing to within 18 points of the championship leader.
There are four Grand Prix, Marc MarqueZ was eighth in the championship, 106 points behind the leader. In a month and a half, he has climbed dramatically in the championship, scoring important points and above all returning to winning ways, five in total, which allows him to now be third, only 18 points behind.
He secured his fifth victory this Sunday at the Sachsenring circuit, after a perfect weekend where he achieved pole position and two race wins. This marks his tenth victory on the German track, which has become his favorite circuit. He thus equals Giacomo Agostini, who holds the record for the most wins at a single track, and further cements his place in history.
Having started in the lead, Marc Márquez He was never troubled by his competitors. The only driver who could have given him a scare, his brother, made a mistake. This was the only blemish on an otherwise perfect day for number 93, who can now begin the summer break with everything going smoothly.

He knows that he now needs to fully recover from his right arm injury in order to be fully fit for the resumption of competition in early August.
"A win is always a win, but I'd put it in the top 10. Ten wins on the same circuit in MotoGP is incredible, and I'm super happy.", he declared at the microphone of MotoGP.com. “Honestly, I’m not 100% happy because I would have liked to see Álex on the podium. I saw how he worked after the Montmeló race, it was impressive. I wasn’t expecting that from him… I know he works hard, but this was beyond what I expected. He was riding very well, but oh well, that’s how it is. On our side of the garage, we worked very well and found the best way to get the most out of this weekend.”

“Today, I attacked right from the start, then I felt the front tire was at its limit. It was a strange feeling. I didn't understand if I was experiencing graining at the front or what was happening. So I slowed down a bit. That's when the group caught me. And then I understood what was happening at the front and I attacked again. It was during this second attack that I opened up a gap. And I knew that here, on this circuit, when you lose a second and a half, it's extremely difficult to make up the time.”
"I don't understand anything [about my situation in the championship]."he said. “I already said it during the last race, but yes, we try to attack when I feel good and manage the situation on difficult circuits. It’s true that if we want to fight for the championship, I need to improve certain things. Actually, just one thing, with my right arm, so during the summer break, I’m going to rest, of course, because I need it mentally. But I really need to work hard on my right arm, especially on the weak points, because there are times when I’m just riding, I’m on the bike, I can’t play with my body. So that’s what I want to work on.”
