It's been a while now that we've talked less about Pedro Acosta, and his performance in Germany does not help this observation. Absent from the debates for three days, he nevertheless made a good impression given the context and his equipment, little in sight on the Sachsenring turnstile. He won't be able to be the youngest winner in MotoGP history, but that doesn't matter: the brilliant Spaniard sees the future, and thinks big. He has no reason to be discouraged because his first half of the season was very promising.
Pedro Acosta's smile has faded a little in recent weeks. Once again, he is hard on himself, and doesn't let anything go. « It was a bad weekend. In the end, we managed to make sure it wasn't a disaster. I know this may sound arrogant, but without the crashes of Barcelona and Assen, I would be much better placed than that in the rankings » he said to the microphones of speedweek.

Like a great pilot, he knows what's wrong and has already started to learn. « I will learn from these races » he added. His performances are not ridiculous, especially when compared to those of Brad Binder and Jack Miller, who are much less often at the forefront than in 2023.
Little or no vacation for the brave. This summer, Pedro Acosta will work even harder to arrive ready next year as a KTM factory rider. « I'm going to spend a week in Austria to see what can be improved. We will see what conclusions we draw from this. I'm relatively new to the factory, although I've already ridden for them in Moto3 and Moto2. It's always better to talk about areas for improvement face to face » he concluded. Here, we understand that he is already committed to his role, and that he is ready to help the Mattighofen firm return to the top.
