Alex Marquez

Having barely stepped off his Gresini team Ducati after finishing second in qualifying for the German MotoGP Grand Prix at the Sachsenring circuit, Álex Márquez spoke in front of the cameras of the official website MotoGP.com with the joy of being back on the front line, two months after his accident in Catalonia, from which he has not yet fully recovered.

We report his remarks here without any formatting.

🎤 Alex, I'm having a flashback to 2025. What a pleasure to see you back in such great shape, at the top of your game! After a difficult period, what impact does it have on you to be on the front lines?

Alex Marquez: “Yes, it’s a great flashback. When I saw myself in second place, then I checked who was first, and I saw Marc. I was upset at first not to have pole, but I’m happy to see Marc and me back at the front. So yes, super happy. I think we made a big step forward this morning in terms of feeling, especially the feeling with the front end. We’re going to try and enjoy this afternoon. We have nothing to lose. For us, the championship is over because of the injury we had in Catalonia, so we’re just going to enjoy the moment.”
