It was on March 23, 1986 that the good town of Forlimpopoli saw the birth of its little motorcycle phenomenon: Andrea Dovizioso. So here he is, aged 32, which means seven years younger than his illustrious compatriot. Valentino Rossi, but also seven years older than his championship rival, Marc Márquez. And he blew out his candles after having signed his seventh victory and fourteen consecutive races, an achievement in Qatar which allows him to lead the provisional general classification of the championnat MotoGP.

So in Honda's little papers, he competed for three years in 250 where he was always a protagonist for the crown before joining the elite in 2008 in the JiR satellite team equipped with Honda. Fifth in the end and best independent driver, he moved to HRC the following year which saw him win in the rain at Donington.
