Through these short videos, Aprilia communicates on its MotoGP program and formalizes the participation of Bradley Smith in 5 Grands Prix.

Roman Albesian: “The MotoGP project, which began in 2016, has constantly progressed, as proven by the various very important results obtained in 2018. The objective for 2019 is to continue to progress to motivate our fans again. At the very end of the 2018 season, especially during the last winter tests, we collected a huge amount of useful information for the new motorcycle project and the development of these different components, in particular with regard to electronics. So we have a lot of ideas to put into practice this season. The 2019 bike has been completely redesigned. The team has been significantly strengthened and, above all, the type of testing is completely new, with a world-class test pilot who we completely trust to successfully progress the project.”

Bradley Smith: “I will be the test rider for Aprilia. Let's say it's a different dynamic for me, in terms of work and development of the bike. I will only participate in 5 races but I am still very motivated by this new goal, and I think I can bring something to the team. These 5 wild cards obviously give me the heat of competition since I continue to race against the best in the world. I know that with this new job, there is a lot of work to do. There are a lot of expectations and the heritage is great at Aprilia. They want to be faster, they want to be better and they have the ambition to put the bike in the top 10 and then aim for the top 6. And we think we can do that.”
