Hervé Poncharal

Hervé Poncharal and his Tech3 troops are eager to take on the Aragon track this weekend for a new Grand Prix in this 2021 MotoGP season. It must be said that the last meeting at Silverstone brought great satisfaction which is just waiting to be relived in Alcañiz. And especially since the terrain is not so bad for a KTM which remains in the leading group…

Last year we saw the best KTM beat the strongest Ducati and we will therefore have to count the Austrian machines among the contenders for places of honor. At Silverstone, Brad Binder on the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing had achieved a new performance in the race by moving from 12th to 6th place and completing the statistic of the six factories in the top 6 for the first time since 1972. Iker Lecuona as Tech3 KTM Factory Racing rider and his teammate Petrucci also distinguished themselves by entering the top 10. Binder et lecuona will be on their second experience MotoGP on MotorLand, which was not the case at Silverstone.

The omens are therefore not unfavorable and Hervé Poncharal is not the last to point it out: “ we were back at Tech3 HQ after a successful weekend at Silverstone, where Iker and Danilo finished in the top 10. We are now very excited to head to Aragón, where we achieved excellent results with both our drivers last year, with Miguel finishing P6 and Iker P9. Therefore, I am confident that the KTM RC16 should be competitive there and we know that Iker and Danilo are in good shape » comments the Frenchman.

Hervé Poncharal wants another top 10

« MotorLand should bring back sunshine and good track conditions. It’s a place that the whole paddock loves to visit. The track itself and the paddock facilities are superb and after Silverstone we will have spectators on site again which is fantastic news. So everything is ready for the Tech3 KTM Factory Racing team to enjoy a great week of racing and we hope to achieve another top 10 result with our two riders » concludes Hervé.
