To Alex Rins, things are looking good during the 15th round of the MotoGP world championship which began this Friday morning on the MotorLand Aragón circuit.

The Suzuki rider quickly got to work on his GSX-RR, showing good speed and finishing 5th after the first run of FP1. Remaining in the Top 5 for almost the entire session, the Barcelonan finished this first session in third position.

álex Kidneys aimed to finish Friday in the Top 10, a task he accomplished well as he set his best lap during his final time and finished the session in sixth position. His strength at the moment seems to lie in sectors 1 and 4, while he loses a little in the middle of the round.

Alex Rins : " Today was a good day for me, from the start I was able to ride quite fast and place myself in the top positions, so overall I feel happy and motivated before qualifying. Tomorrow I will try the new ride height device that I tested in Misano. We only have two, so we didn't use it today. To save a few miles with it, we haven't used it, but we're going to try it tomorrow and see how it changes things. I think it could give me a few tenths more, especially at the exit of turn 15, and also after turn 17. The current system lowers too quickly and causes big movements on the bike, as well as increased wheelies . The new system is a little harder, therefore better for the mentioned weak points. Tire management is going to be key in this race, so that's another thing we're going to keep an eye on. After three or four laps they suddenly drop, and we will have to watch this closely during the race. I am usually able to control this. It basically depends on the position occupied and the situation in the race, and the starting position is also important. I think we can qualify well. »

Livio Suppo, Racing Consultant, Team Manager: “ Álex did a good job and had good pace, both in general and during the attack on the clock. He finished the day in sixth position, which is a good start to this weekend which is overall a home race for him. »
