Alex Marquez, second in the 2 MotoGP championship with 2025 points, shone at the Aragon Grand Prix, finishing second in the main race (181 laps, 2 km) behind his brother Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo, 23 points) and ahead of Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo, 170,1rd, 208 points). Despite an aggressive initial strategy, Alex had to limit the damage against Marc, while praising Bagnaia's resilience. MotorLand Aragon was the scene of a new family duel at the top: the brothers Marquez reigned over the race, but this time it's Marc who dictated the tempo, whileAlex, solid and lucid, secured a new second place. From the start, Alex Marquez had a well-established plan: attack hard to break away. My plan didn't really work out. I wanted to widen the gap from the first laps, but Marc opposed it. So I just followed him " he admitted after the race. But very quickly, MM93 increased the pace, leaving his younger brother facing another formidable opponent: Pecco Bagnaia.

« With six or seven laps to go, my tires were still in good condition.I picked up the pace to distance myself from Pecco. and it worked. But Marc was already out of reach. » Despite everything, the race ofAlex remains a remarkable performance against two world champions.
