A high-quality Q1 is offered to us in this fourteenth meeting of the year, the Arag Grand Prix.ónot. Indeed, it is not at all MotoGP meetings that we see the third and fourth in the championship play out their fate on the starting grid from the repechage. However, this is the case with Petrucci and Rins who will not have it easy since Franco Morbidelli will have the weapons to deprive one of the two official drivers of qualification for Q2. An open match which will be played under the sun.
Who will be left behind at the end of this Q1? Before answering this question, here is the table which summarizes the facts…

28° in the air and 39° on a dry track observed by a clear sky are the conditions offered to the pilots for these fateful 15 minutes. Nakagami is one of the outsiders, thus adding to the strong competition already mentioned above.

The first reference goes to Alex Rins in 1'48.519 ahead Morbidely. Iannone follows with his Aprilia while Petrucci is only fifth behind Rock and in front Lorenzo...
Nakagami comes second to the detriment of Morbidely. But the latter returns the favor. The duel is close between the Honda LCR and the Yamaha Petronas.
So far, so good for @FrankyMorbido12! 👍

Last salvo: the first three are in three tenths. Everything is playable. And that’s the surprise! Morbidely takes the lead in 1'48.292 and Iannone takes advantage of the Yamaha's wake to bring its Aprilia into Q2. Kidneys is third in front Nakagami et Petrucci. Lorenzo will start 20th. On to Q2, with two Aprilias!
