Marc Marquez showed his talent again by winning Friday afternoon's practice session at the Aragon Grand Prix, marking the twelfth round of the 2024 MotoGP championship. The Gresini team rider set the fastest time of the day with a lap of 1'45.801, beating Aprilia's two standard-bearers, Aleix Espargaró and Maverick Viñales, by more than two tenths.
George Martin of the team Pramac achieved the fourth fastest time, followed by Alex Marquez, who experienced technical problems during the session. Francis Bagnaia, after a difficult morning, made an impressive comeback to finish sixth. Franco Morbidelli took seventh place, while Johann zarco, on the Honda of the team LCR, surprised by placing eighth. Raul fernandez finished ninth, with Miguel Oliveira completing the top ten.
The other Italian drivers, forced to go through Q1, had mixed results. Fabio DiGiannantonio et Marco Bezzecchi, from the VR46 team, finished 13th and 14th respectively. Enea Bastianini, who had to slow down on his fastest lap due to a yellow flag caused by a crash Miller, finished 15th. Luca marini took 17th position.
