How important is the warm-up of the Aragon Grand Prix, 12th round of the season? MotoGP ?
In theory, lasting only 10 minutes, its interest may seem very limited, with drivers generally only having time to do a limited number of laps.
However, at Motorland Aragon where the grip changed between Friday morning and Friday afternoon, and then again on Saturday, getting an idea of the track conditions does not seem completely superfluous on Sunday… especially when the track is wet, like this morning!
We will barely mention the additional hard rear tire that we have not yet seen used until now, while the wear observed so far mainly concerns the front tire, the object of slight concern at Ducati, as confided Davide Tardozzi on the microphone of the official website MotoGP.com.
Furthermore, it is certain that Alex Espargaro, Johann zarco et Franco Morbidelli will also appreciate being sure to have a bike that works properly after their fall the day before, just like all the other riders, each having seen his machine that did the Sprint completely dismantled on Saturday evening before returning to service on Sunday.
While waiting to discover more, as the 22 drivers prepare, under an overcast sky with a wet track and temperatures of 20° in the air and 23° on the ground, let's enjoy these few moments of live coverage thanks to the official website MotoGP.com :
Here is the table which summarizes the facts known so far.

The track is still very wet, as Marc Marquez does a flag-to-flag race simulation.
At the end of the first round, Franco Morbidelli registered 2'06.117 ahead Jack Miller and Miguel Oliveira while Marc Márquez decides that recording any time would be useless and stays in his box.
