This press conference of the Argentine Grand Prix MotoGP 2025 who brought together Marc Marquez, Alex Marquez et Franco Morbidelli for their debriefing, also confirms the 4th double of the Marquez brothers in four races.

For the Italian VR46 driver, who has been through a dark period that he describes with some emotion, this podium in bright yellow on a continent that is dear to him has a taste of victory...

As usual, we report here in full the words of the latter, without the slightest formatting, even if it is translated from English.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Grand Prix press conference here at the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit, following the YPF Energy Argentinian Grand Prix. After Thailand, the opening round, it's a bit of the same feeling, as we once again have the Marquez 1-2. Congratulations to Ducati Lenovo Team rider Marc Marquez!
Marc, winner of the Sprint and Grand Prix for the second race in a row, claimed his 90th Grand Prix victory today, tying him with Spanish legend Angel Nieto for third place on the all-time Grand Prix winners list. Congratulations again, Marc, you've achieved a fantastic feat! BK8 Gresini Racing rider Alex Marquez took second place and gave it his all during the 25-lap race here in Termas. Congratulations, Alex, another podium for you in 2025! And it's great to welcome Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team rider Franky Morbidelli, his first podium with the team and his first in four long years since 2021. Congratulations, Franky! Gentlemen, well done to all three of you!

We now come to the final step of the podium, third place going to Franky Morbidelli. Franky, congratulations! As we mentioned in the presentation, this is your first podium since the Spanish Grand Prix at Jerez in 2021. It's been a very difficult weekend for you too. You were in Q1 yesterday morning, you weren't at your best. I think you had some headaches and a bit of nausea, and so to leave Argentina in front of these incredible South American fans, you must be incredibly happy with your weekend.
Franco Morbidelli : “Yes, finally! Finally, I’m incredibly happy with this weekend. We didn’t start in a good way, and on top of that, yesterday I felt sick, so I went from an average situation to a worse one. I had to go through Q1, but anyway, today I chose the soft tire and I knew I had to give everything I had at the beginning of the race to make up as many positions as possible. And after that I just tried to control it and I saw that I was able to control the pace quite well. I couldn’t catch those two guys. I was just able to watch them from behind. It was a great battle they had, a great battle. And we’ll try to improve in the future, we’ll try to start the weekend better, we’ll try to improve the time attack to start a little bit more in front, you know, we’ll try to improve the things we missed to reach those two guys.”

Franky, every podium in MotoGP is very special, but this one has to be even more so, of course: we are racing here in South America, you have Brazilian roots, we saw a lot of Brazilian fans here this weekend, and your journey so far started in the VR46 Academy, you were the very first rider in the Academy, and now here you are 10 or 11 years later in the VR46 colors on the podium of a MotoGP race, it must be a very special emotion for you…
“Yes, it’s an incredible feeling! The team has such a strong connection with this place, I have such a strong connection with South America in general, so it’s even more enjoyable to have this kind of performance on Sunday. And for sure this podium goes to the whole VR46 group, all the guys who work here and who work in Tavullia to make us feel good and to be fast on the bike. So this podium goes to them.”

Franco, you talked about the importance of success for the team, but after everything you've been through these last 1600 days, with your knee, with your head, how important is it to you?
“Well, that's great! It's been a long time (laughs)! I've had time to forget how nice it was, I've had time to think I wasn't worth it, I've had time to think I wasn't strong enough. I've had time to think about many, many things, both good and bad. I'll tell you next weekend how you feel, because right now you're just very dizzy. I don't know if it's the Prosecco or something else, but yes, tonight I'll understand better how I feel, and I'll tell you next week.”

With today's roaring crowd, how important is it to come back here next year?
"Yes, I love this place! If you go to the city, it's a big party everywhere, and it's pure South American style and I'm looking forward to next year in Goiânia. And yes, I would like to have two races in South America because, yes, I love the South American style."
