Tito Rabat, the rider of the Reale Avintia Racing team, celebrated last Sunday in Argentina his best result in MotoGP since his debut in the premier category in 2015.
Rabat finished seventh in the race after good free practice and qualifying sessions which saw him start from fourth place on the grid. Once again, the weather disrupted the action and the start had to be delayed after much confusion on the grid. But all this did not affect Tito, who always remained focused. He managed to stay on his two wheels in a very difficult race with slick tires on a track with a lot of moisture marks.
Tito Rabat, 7th: “It was a great weekend and I am extremely satisfied with the work of my team and the performance of my Ducati. We did a superb job, third on Friday in the dry, fourth yesterday in qualifying and today I got my best result in MotoGP in a very tricky race. Finishing the race was a success in itself, but being so close to the front was fantastic. It was great to be able to ride in the lead group, because I saw and learned a lot. I'm very happy, but it's just the beginning. We must continue to work in the same way and continue to improve in the next races.”
