After two difficult first races, Álex Rins arrives in Argentina with the firm intention of taking a step forward this season and fighting for the front positions on his Suzuki. The Spanish driver answered questions from journalists in the preamble to the Argentine GP, and we transcribe his entire remarks here.

Álex, how are you approaching this third round in Argentina, particularly with this postponement of the sessions to Saturday?
« It's a shame to have to wait a day before you can hit the trail, because here in Termas de Río Hondo you don't have much to do. But we will use Friday to better understand the bike in order to better prepare for the GP. Saturday is going to be very difficult with all the free practice sessions planned, but for me it's not a real problem. »

Do you think a weekend of just two days could help you at Suzuki?
« Not in our case. If there were only FP3, FP4 and then qualifying then that would indeed be an advantage, but if all sessions are maintained there isn't really much more for anyone. »

What is the condition of the track at the moment? It seems that it is very dirty, very dusty...
« Indeed, I did a lap of the circuit on foot and the track is very dusty. We will therefore see if the organizers will take advantage of Friday for the to clean. »
