Leader of the championship, Enea Bastianini is currently having a very difficult weekend in Argentina. Unable to qualify for Q2 either at the end of FP2 or the first part of qualifying, the Gresini driver will ultimately have to start in the soft underbelly of the peloton, in 13th position.

The Italian looked back on his performance at the end of the day, and here are his words.

Enea, you have had a very difficult day here in Argentina…
« It wasn't a good day for us. We need to understand what happened, because from the start my feelings on the bike were not good. I wasn't lucky either, because I didn't manage to enter the Q2 zone either during FP2 or during qualifying. On Sunday we will try to be more concentrated and see what we can do in the race. I have to review what the data says, because on this track we have a lot of bumps, and I think all the Ducati riders had problems because of them, apart from Luca Marini and Jorge Martín. »
