Watching the different sessions of the Argentine MotoGP Grand Prix, on the not very grippy but abrasive circuit of Termas de Rio Hondo, you wonder what the point of a 10-minute warm-up, like the one we are going to experience, is?
Let's listen Francis Bagnaia who answered this question after his victory in Portugal : « A 10 minute warmup is simply there to understand if the bike is ready. For example for me, I changed to the second bike yesterday in FP3 and I didn't use the first one anymore during the day, so it's just to understand if everything is going well and to get in a little condition, but 10 minutes is nothing. Of course, after the Sprint, doing just 10 minutes is better than nothing before a different race. »
Here is the Sunday morning control session, in anticipation of the race which will take place at 19:00 p.m. over 25 laps and whose starting grid will be made up of Alex Marquez, Marco Bezzecchi, Francis Bagnaia, Franco Morbidelli, Maverick Vinales, Johann zarco, Luca marini, George Martin, Alex Espargaro et fabio quartararo for the first 10 places, just like for the wild Sprint on Saturday.
The weather forecast showed a nice morning rain and the sky is currently fifty shades of gray above a completely wet track. Temperatures are still rather low at 17° in the air and 19° on the ground.
