Pecco Bagnaia will therefore have been the great dominator of this round of the MotoGP championship in Assen. A perfect weekend for the Ducati rider at the Dutch Grand Prix. Bagnaia dominated from Friday to Sunday, winning both the Sprint Race and the main race, closing the gap to Jorge Martín in the general classification. Assen, one of his favorite circuits, once again witnessed his mastery.

bagnaia started Sunday's race with the determination to reproduce his performance from the day before. He took off like a bullet, quickly widening the gap with his competitors. Maverick Vinales, who had started well by retaining his second place acquired during qualifying, was quickly overtaken by Jorge Martin. Marc Marquez, meanwhile, made a spectacular comeback, going from seventh to third place in a few laps.

The accident ofalex rins, victim of a highside from the start, added a dramatic note to the race, but fortunately, the driver escaped unscathed. During this time, bagnaia continued to impose his pace, taking a comfortable lead over Martin, who himself distanced Marquez.

Halfway through the race, everything seemed to be in favor of bagnaia. The duel for third place intensified, with Fabio DiGiannantonio et Peter Acosta fighting behind Marquez et Casa Particular in Viñales. Di Giannantonio, showing a solid pace, finally overtook Marquez to take third place.

The end of the race saw Enea Bastianini enter the stage, joining the fight for the podium and surpassing Marquez. Peter Acosta, meanwhile, fell on the last lap, definitively abandoning the race. bastianini anchored his third place, while Marquez preceded Casa Particular in Viñales to finish fourth.

The general classification after Assen sees Jorge Martin hold the head with 10 point in advance on bagnaia. Marquez, now at 51 points of Martin, moves away from the fight for the title. Maverick Vinales climbs to fifth place, surpassing Peter Acosta, who had a difficult weekend.

Fabio DiGiannantonio, thanks to his fifth place in the main race, surpasses Aleix Espargaro in the general classification and placed eighth. Sunday's race also highlighted the dominance of bagnaia on race days, scoring more points than Martin this season.

The Independent Drivers' Championship remains unchanged, with Peter Acosta in third position behind George Martin et Marc Marquez. The team ranking sees Ducati continue to lead, followed by Prima Pramac. Gresini maintains its third place, whileAprilia stabilizes in fourth position. The official team KTM exceeds Tech3 to take sixth place.

In the classification by brands, Ducati dominates with almost 300 points, followed by KTM. Aprilia remains in third position, illustrating the rise in power of European manufacturers to the detriment of the Japanese. Yamaha maintains a slight lead over Honda, which closes the ranking.

Pecco Bagnaia, with its exceptional performance at Assen, demonstrated once again why he is one of the most formidable riders of the MotoGP season. Here he is 23 achievements with Ducati, thus equaling the score of Casey Stoner. But next week, it will be the Sachsenring, favorite grounds of Marc Marquez and Jorge Martin.
