Here we are arriving in Assen for a Dutch Grand Prix which signals that mid-season has already arrived. At the end of this Batavian meeting, the summer break will be declared, for a well-deserved rest until the beginning of August. The opportunity to mark your territory a little more or to regain your health before the holidays in a particularly contested campaign, like this fact which has never been noted since 1975: the last four events have been won by four different manufacturers...

Indeed, with Jack Miller on his Ducati in France, fabio quartararo in Italy riding his Yamaha, Miguel Oliveira on the saddle of his KTM in Catalonia, and, of course, the return to the first step of the podium of the Honda official Marc Marquez, the series in diversity equals that of ago 46 years with Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki and MV Agusta.

By the way, fabio quartararo took his 15th podium in the premier category in Germany last weekend and is thus getting closer to his compatriot's national record Christian Sarron which has 18. Yamaha's last victory in the premier category at the Dutch TT dates back to Maverick Vinales in 2019. Yamaha achieved 10 victories in MotoGP in Assen with four drivers: Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo, Ben Spies and Maverick Vinales.

Honda's last victory in the premier class at Assen dates back to Marc Marquez in 2018 from pole position. Honda has achieved seven MotoGP victories in the Netherlands with six riders: Valentino Rossi, Sete Gibernau, Nicky Hayden, Casey Stoner, Marc Marquez and Jack Miller.

Ducati's only MotoGP victory in Holland is to the credit of Casey Stoner, in 2008 from pole position. In addition to Stoner's podiums from 2007 to 2010, Ducati has three other MotoGP podiums at Assen: Andrea Dovizioso (2nd in 2014), Scott Redding (3rd in 2016), Danilo Petrucci (2nd in 2017).

Suzuki's last victory in the premier class was that of Kevin schwantz, in 1993. The best result in MotoGP for Suzuki is the second position ofAlex Rins in 2018. The best result ofAprilia in MotoGP since 2002 at the Dutch TT is that of Colin Edwards, 7th in 2003. The best places in a KTM are those of Pol Espargaro, 11th in 2017 and 2019.

Finally, the last rider to win the MotoGP race at Assen several years in a row is Valentino Rossi, in 2004 and 2005. In the 500cc category Giacomo Agostini and Mick Doohan both won the Dutch TT five years in a row.
