Having barely got off his official Aprilia RS-GP after obtaining 3rd place in the Dutch Grand Prix on the TT Assen circuit, Maverick Vinales spoke in front of the cameras of the official website MotoGP.com, with the joy of achieving his best result and his first podium with Aprilia, after his disappointment in Germany last weekend.

We report his remarks here without any formatting.

We're looking forward to hearing from you about the race, but tell us what it's like to finish on the podium with an Aprilia?

Maverick Vinales: “Well, the tremendous work we have done is finally paying off. It was a very difficult race. I pushed as hard as I could during each lap because I was starting from the back. But the bike was fantastic, each time we are better, and you know, the best thing is to be on the podium every weekend so I will give everything and work hard. I would like to thank my family who have always supported me. Not much more to add, I want to be on the podium again and I'm going to give it my all again! »
