All the drivers are on soft tires at the rear, except Francis Bagnaia who uses a medium. At the front, the medium is unanimous except for Alex Rins and Pol I will espargaro who prefer to stretch it.
Maverick Casa Particular in Viñales registered the first reference in 1'32. 413 but Fabio Quartararo responds immediately in 1'32.336 in his first flying lap, exactly the same time as his teammate in FP3!
On the next pass, the Frenchman registered 1'31.922, winning the new circuit record which already belonged to him!

Maverick Casa Particular in Viñales goes back to soft/soft. After the third sector, the Catalan is nine thousandths ahead of fabio quartararo… A lead that he materializes with a new record in 1'31.814!
In the last minute, fabio quartararo lights the first two sectors in red…but goes wrong in the third.
In the end, the two official Yamaha riders turned out to be 3/10 faster than the competition symbolized by Francesco Bagnaia on the front line alongside them.
