At the end of the first three free practice sessions for the Grand Prix of the Americas in Austin, Jack Miller, Takaaki Nakagami, alex rins, Marc Marquez, Johann zarco, fabio quartararo, Espargaro Pol, Brad Binder, Francis Bagnaia et George Martin ensured their direct passage into qualification 2, despite the bumps on the Texan circuit…

From a meteorological point of view, the conditions were indeed ideal this morning and the hierarchies established yesterday morning and yesterday afternoon were swept away in the last quarter of an hour of FP3.

The drivers now have 30 minutes to work on absorbing the bumps with a full tank (or find other trajectories) keeping in mind the impressive gap of 7/10 created by Jack Miller this morning on his closest opponent...

For the moment, and contrary to the weather forecasts, it is still a dry track which welcomes the MotoGP riders under a clear sky, with temperatures of 28° in the air and 40° on the asphalt.

By the time the 21 pilots (Maverick Vinales being absent due to the death of his cousin) are preparing for this 30 minute session, let's take advantage of these few minutes live thanks to the official website MotoGP.com :

When the red lights go out... Franco Morbidelli, Valentino Rossi and Luca Marini rush together while fabio quartararo, as usual, takes the track last, just after the two official Ducatis.

When it comes to tires, if a hard front is required, all options are available for the rear…

Right away, Joan mir appears to break its engine and stops at the side of the track.

Johann zarco registered the first reference in 2'04.922 while Espargaro Pol makes a minor mistake at turn #12.

The Frenchman continues in 2'04.375, just 4 thousandths ahead fabio quartararo.

Jack Miller positions himself 3rd after 10 minutes but has to concede this place to Marc Marquez in the process.

The Australian takes his teammate behind him to try to counter The Devil...

At the end of the first run, Johann zarco precede Fabio Quartararo, Marc Marquez, Jack Miller, Aleix Espargaro, Miguel Oliveira, Francesco Bagnaia, Alex Rins, Takaaki Nakagami and Alex Marquez under the watchful eye of Ben Spies…

On resumption, Joan mir climbs to 4th place on his second GSX-RR and, this time unlike the FP3, the times are more than uniform.

On the next pass, the Suzuki rider took command in 2'04.180, a time faster than the one he achieved in FP3.

Five minutes before the checkered flag, Jack Miller tries to do the FP3 trick again and lights all the sectors in red to display his name at the top of the ranking in 2'04.028.

D2 minutes later, Takaaki Nakagami et alex rins are positioned respectively 5th and 6th, but it is Francis Bagnaia who progresses the most by snatching 3rd position.

Alex Espargaro suffered his second crash of the weekend, this time at the fast turn #2.
