Franco Morbidelli returned to MotoGP at Misano after being out for three months due to knee and meniscus surgery. An exhausting return but one that the Yamaha factory rider leather still made positive. 2018 was Morbidelli's first year in Austin in MotoGP. He qualified 17th and crossed the finish line in 21st position.
