Austin

This fourth round of the season in Austin seems to herald the return to form of the Ducatis, even if, once again, it was a GP22 in the colors of Pramac which dominated the red bikes... We won't complain about that not since it is Johann Zarco. The Frenchman obtained the best performance with a time of 2:02.542. He was 0.247s ahead of his teammate Jack Miller (Team Factory) and reigning Yamaha Champion Fabio Quartararo.

The fourth beat is for Enea Bastianini (Gresini Racing) who, riding the Desmosedici 2021, beat the Suzuki ofalex rins, best time in FP1 and the returning Honda Repsol Marc Marquez, the latter being led by 0,499s. The Aprilia of Maverick Casa Particular in Viñales behaved well, despite losing a few positions compared to FP1 since seventh time in FP2, confirming its competitive position on a track where last year it had not been at the meeting, mourning the tragic death of his young cousin Dean Berta Viñales. The Suzuki of Joan mir, the official Ducati of Pecco Bagnaia et George Martin are also part of the Top Ten.

Eleventh place goes to the winner of the Argentine Grand Prix Aleix Espargarò. The #41 Aprilia, which has a gap of 0,828 seconds from the top, is ahead of its brother Pol (Honda Repsol) and the KTM of Brad Binder. Luca Marini with the Ducati of Mooney VR46 Racing Team is 14th, just ahead Andrea Dovizioso (Yamaha WithU RNF). Forlì seems more comfortable than at Termas de Rio Hondo, even if the summit is still far away. In trouble Franco Morbidelli, which on the Yamaha Factory does not exceed 21st position. A difficult start to the weekend and the Championship for the Italian-Brazilian Yamaha.

The best rookie MotoGP is Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati Gresini) 18th, followed by Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46 Racing Team) 19th, Remy gardner (Team Tech 3) 20th, Darryn Binder (Yamaha WithU RNF) 22nd and Raul Fernandez (Team Tech 3) 23rd. This Saturday is qualifying day and you shouldn't miss anything, including in Moto2, a category that Fermin Aldeguer continues to ignite. Here is the program…
