MotoGP Austin J2: Valentino Rossi received a very special gift from Kevin Schwantz

Kevin Schwantz is a little on his home turf in Austin, the circuit which is the scene of the Grand Prix of the Americas. Kevin schwantz so went to see Valentino Rossi who is making his last visit to Austin since, at the end of this season MotoGP, he will assert his retirement rights. The 500cc champion with Suzuki came to the garage of the nine-time world champion to offer him an Arai replica of the colors that Schwantz used during his 500 career. A helmet that was also customized for Valentino Rossi with two important details.

The first is the now world-famous number 46 in fluorescent yellow on each side, and the second is a nod to the helmet that Red used when he raced on a minibike with one of the Ninja Turtles, in this case Michelangelo, drawn on the back. On this occasion, the helmet that 34 gave to 46 includes a nice reference to this figurine that Valentino wore attached to the helmet.
