This Sunday, April 10, 2022, John Zarco did not answer journalists' questions since the Circuit of the Americas in Austin but, undoubtedly returning to Europe, sent them an audio at the end of the Grand Prix of the Americas.

We listened to the words of the French driver who still occupies 8th place in the championship and concluded this race in 9th position in Texas.

As usual, we report here the words of John Zarco without the slightest formatting, even if it is partially translated (vouvoiement in English, tutoiement in French).

Johann zarco : " Anyway, I'm happy because it was a very difficult race. I got off to a good start and had a good start to the race. I felt pretty good on the bike. It was difficult to go much faster to try to get the pace for the podium, but then I started to suffer with the rear tire and as soon as you struggle the others attack you. While trying to stay with them, I also made some mistakes so I wasted a lot of time. The end of the race was very, very complicated because the bike was moving and the body was suffering, so with all these hard moments, I am satisfied to have finished the race. It's the hardest race of the year so I'm happy to finish it in ninth position. I took away some very positive things from the race but also a lot of information that I need to continue working with the team because I'm missing something that doesn't give me the opportunity to maintain the pace for longer. So I take the positive and I'm looking forward to some good races in Europe. »
