Pol Espargaro

The Qatar podium is definitely a distant memory for Pol Espargaró who then fell from Charybdis to Scylla on the handlebars of his Honda. As if the technical problems and those inherent in piloting this RC213V, certainly new but still not easy to handle, were not enough, Aleix's younger brother suffered health problems for three days in Texas. What's more, he saw his teammate Marc Marquez evolve once again on another planet. Which is not good news as contracts are being negotiated with a view to 2023…

Pol Espargaro finished this Grand Prix of the Americas exhausted, at the end of which he made a point of bringing home two points. He recounts his real suffering during 20 grueling laps: “ it was so hard! I feel completely exhausted “, declared the Spaniard. “ I felt bad because I was pretty helpless afterwards intestinal infection which has been tormenting me since Friday morning. This was one of the most difficult MotoGP races I have experienced so far. With ten laps still to go, I thought about giving up. But I was in the points and I wanted to finish the race ».
